Hewwo!

I have not posted here in a while, but my God I have been busy drafting new things.

I basically have the Hbomberguy problem, where I start on what I think will be a smol project, and then it just spirals out of control because of all the loose threads I find. Frankly, I need an editor. No, not ChatGPT. Like a human editor, a person who reads English and can tell me what to keep and what to cut. Cuz frankly, I have tangents upon tangents ready-ish to post, I just don't because they aren't quality enough yet, or they fail to hit my mark of quality.

This is where a tangent could begin about what I consider "Quality". But I will skip for now, and just say I want to breathe more, and not feel rushed making posts, even as I am gearing up for therapy and haven't showered or gotten dressed for the day yet lol! Some of my older posts are filled with poor grammar and syntax, and that's mostly rushed stream-of-consciousness nonsense on my end. I wanted this site to be a reflection of quality, and that's why I haven't posted as much, because my 20+ drafts are good starting points, but they need to be shaped more properly, cleaned up a bit etc. I don't think "Quality" is difficult to define, in that regard: you know it, I know it, and I don't hit the mark, in my personal opinion, so I am working on how to improve myself to get there more consistently.

The funny thing is that this blog has gotten a decent amount of traffic since I joined Bluesky, and its part of the reason why I want to post here more often. I loved Twitter in the early 2010s, and Bluesky has a better feel than Twitter ever had, IMO. But it is a replacement mechanism to fully formed thought, like Twitter is. Its easy to post there, but you are limited to 300 characters, and trying to fit everything in that space is a fun challenge, sure, but it isn't enough. Threading is great, I love to read threads, but I am the exception to the rule. I know enough people IRL to know people only read the first one, and that's it. At least, with a blog, its all there.

Moreover, I have an addictive personality, and Bluesky has quickly swallowed me up. In a better way than Twitter did, no doubt, it doesn't feel like "the hellsite" of yore. But I do post too much, and I don't think the posts are very good. If I could erase everything and start anew there, I would, but tragically I think that would mean deleting each of my 1,000+ posts one by one, and I don't wanna spend time doing that.

So to wrap things up here, I hope to start posting more regularly here, and using multiple accounts and avenues on social media for distribution and publicity, but that's it.

Lilac Stuff

Lilac is still active! I never stopped on it, and I hope to launch a ton of different channels and outlets tomorrow, the 4th of July, in celebration of America's founding. I love the idea of Lilac channels and social media accounts all existing on the 4th of July for purely symbolic reasons. So if you see accounts pop up tomorrow, it is likely me going crazy and making new accounts literally everywhere for Lilac.

FEC registration is still ongoing. The main issue is I do not have federal candidates, so tl;dr I am running for President, which was my plan from the start, and I hope to recruit federal, state and local candidates to run and win seats for Lilac within the coming election cycles.

I will have ways to volunteer or run for office soon, of course pending FEC and other legal approvals. I have been working on a better Lilac Party site, since I don't love the current one and yearn for a better, more professional site lol! All in all, been pretty happy and healthy! Despite everything, life remains good UwU!
